The alleged successor to Nokia’s popular Lumia 520, called as Lumia 525 and codenamed Glee, has recently been spotted showing off its design in a leaked press render.
The render which depicts a traditional Lumia design, was leaked on Facebook by none other than @evleaks. The only significant change in design compared to the Lumia 520 seems to be a sleeker build.
The leaked render also hints that the phone would sport three colors – Red, White and Yellow. Another thing that can be noticed from the render is the missing flash alongside the rear camera, similar to the Lumia 520. As expected, there has been no official word from Nokia about this leaked press render.
Some images and specifications of the Lumia 525 had been leaked earlier this week too. From the images we could make out that even the front panel is quite similar to the Lumia 520.
The allegedly leaked specifications state that the phone would have a 4 inch WGA IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
It will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor and would have 1GB RAM. The phone would have an internal storage of 8GB which could be extended up to 64GB by using a microSD card.
The camera would be 5 megapixels with the ability to autofocus and battery would be 1430 mAh. The phone will provide connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, GPS, 3G and micro-USB.
Apart from the sleeker build another major change is increase in RAM. The rumors also state that it will be bundled with the rumored Nokia Guru aka BH-121 Bluetooth stereo headset.
