The New Google Nexus 5 vs Nexus 4 review


After infinite rumors and innumerable leaks, Google finally announced the Nexus 5 along with the latest edition of the Android OS 4.4, aka Kitkat.

Google announced on their official blog that still LG is the manufacturer of the Nexus 5. The new Nexus is smaller, slimmer and even lighter than the Nexus 4 but has a 4.97 inch display.

Nexus 5 is available today on the Google Play Store in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan and Korea. Still no launch for India has been specified. However, the Nexus 5 can be seen on the Indian PlayStore priced at 28,999 INR for 16 GB and 32,999 INR for the 32 GB model.

The Nexus 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 800 with a quad-core Krait CPU clocked at 2.26 GHz. The phone comes with the Android KitKat out of the box.

It has a 4.97 inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p and 445 ppi. The phone has support for 4G LTE connectivity and comes in two storage variants – 32 GB and 16 GB.

The phone has 2 GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. The phone has a 2,300 mAh battery and weighs only 130g. It has support for both NFC and Wireless charging.
