The Teen Choice Awards 2013 has just been encased up, and the inside exclusive news on the biggest winners of the night is ready to be unveiled.
This year’s Teen Choice Awards was a genuine success, with the biggest names in the entertainment and sports industries coming altogether to celebrate what teens have to say. The TCA was held on Sunday night, Aug. 11, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, the 2013 TCA was stuffed with bombshells and cheering compliment which made the night memorable.
The show started with extraordinary boy band One Direction, performing their latest hit “Best Song Ever” as small pieces of colored papers rained down all over the stage and the audience. 1D was also presented with a number of awards by show hosts Lucy Hale and Darren Criss, including Choice Music Group and Choice Summer Tour.
Glee was also one of the big winners of the night. The Fox TV show won Choice TV Show (Comedy), at the same time stars Chord Overstreet, Blake Jenner and Lea Michele won individual awards for their performances on the show. Michele, who lost on- and off-screen boyfriend Cory Monteith due to a drug overdose last month, gave a wholehearted tribute to the actor who was known as Finn Hudson on the TV show.
Demi Lovato also won big this year, taking home three awards for herself. She separately performed her newest single “Made in the USA” off her self-titled album. She also won Choice Female Artist, Choice Single (Female Artist) for “Heart Attack”, and Choice TV Personality (Female).
With more than 150 million votes cast, the teens absolutely did a good job in picking the best from this year’s group of artists, movies, actors and actresses.
