It’s good news for T-Mobile users as upgrading to the latest and the best smartphones could now get a lot cheaper.
There have been reports that T-Mobile is working on a new deal that will allow its customers to take away the iPhone 5C, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4 for no down payment. This was reported by TMoNews and T-Mobile was calling its new offer as “Upgrade and Save”.
T-Mobile users who did not opt for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C 0$ deals, will be notified by a text message saying that they have been selected for a discount on the next device they purchase.
The discount could be anything in the range of $25 to $200 off the price of the new smartphone. It is reported that the program would be launched throughout the nation on December 11th.
A direct mailing campaign will be stared and users will have the option to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5 and also the LG Optimus F3.
As compared to the current $49.99 down payment on purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s, the new program will waive the down payment.
TMoNews has also asserted that only the customers who meet the tenure eligibility requirements will be offered these deals.
If the reports prove to be correct, it will be a very happy holiday season for T-Mobile users. The post-discount cost and the bill could be spread over equal monthly installments.
