Sony Xperia Z1S features and specs review

International CES started on January 7 and ended on 10th January, and it hosted some of the most crazy and most forward thinking technology in the industry.

It also showcased products and services that came out to be the most notable and biggest innovation in near future.

The show came to an end but the hands-on videos of the devices didn’t stop coming.

The latest device to get the hands-on treatment is the Sony Xperia Z1s. Xperia Z1s is the latest entry by Sony and will be launched on 22nd January, 2014. The phone will be coming to T-Mobile, Sony’s traditional partner in the States.

Sony Xperia Z1s will be coming with 32GB memory instead of 16GB. The new phone is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor and comes with a RAM of 2GB.

Xperia Z1s sports a 5-inch TFT LCD display that has a resolution of 1080 x1920 pixels and comes with a 3,000 mAh battery.

Xperia Z1s has a rear camera of 20.7MP and Sony has included a dual-détente camera button that can be used in halfway for focusing before shooting. To simulate the out-of-focus effect, Sony has added a Background Defocusing option to the Z1s’s camera.

This simulation is very hard to achieve with a smartphone camera, so it is a plus point for Z1s.

Coming to outer looks, the aluminum frame has been replaced by a plastic one, which has made it nice to hold in hand and slightly more light in weight than the international version.

Z1s retains the IP58 certification of the international version, which means it will be waterproof and dust resistant.
