Sloane Stephens, future women’s world tennis

Sloane Stephens is an American professional tennis player. Women’s tennis association ranked her as World No. 16 on July 22, 2013.

In Wimbledon championship 2013, she was one of the quarterfinalists. She had also defeated Serena Williams in 2013 Australian open and was one of the semifinalists.

Her dad, John Stephens was a professional American football player. At the US open, she had passed her latest test on Wednesday which was witnessed by a bigger audience.

In one of her interviews, she said that she will not miss even a single ball and she is all here to play. Her match had begun after 11.53 after the rain which makes the delay of the morning matches and night matches also.

She said that she had never played late and it was a long experience for her. Radwanska will be playing opposite to her who is ranked as 38 in the world.

This will be their second meeting and the first one was won by Radwanska and Sloane is looking forward for the second.

If she wants to make it to the fourth round she will have to defeat Jamie Hampton. She said that Jamie is also an American as well as good player and she is looking forward for the match. Her main inspirations in tennis are the William sisters and Kim.

She said that she always listens to some good motivation tunes before the match as it keeps her from getting distracted. The saying that always motivates her is told by tennis legend Billie Jean King to her is “pressure is a privilege”.
