Skoda Octavia vRS, is Skoda’s latest car which according to the automobile manufacturer based in the Czech Republic is manufactured on the VW Audi group’s adaptable MQB platform. Skoda manufactured the vRS keeping in mind both the private and the business motorists.
The company has launched the vRS in two variants i.e. the petrol and the diesel.
In the petrol variant, the customer will have 1.2 and 1.4 liter petrol engines. Whereas, the diesel version will be available in 1.6 liter or 2.0 liter engine.
The diesel variant of the car is capable of delivering a mileage of 61.4 mpg on highway. With the same engine, the car also has the power to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 8 sec. whereas, the top speed of the car is claimed to be 144 mph.
The interior of the car is very spacious and has long and sufficient leg space. The interior of the car is quiet and the car runs smoothly even on high speeds.
Some of the standard features of the car include Gemini 18-inch anthracite alloy wheels, the all new sport suspension to provide smooth ride, acoustic parking sensors for the ease of parking, energy recovery system, dual climate control fitted on the dashboard, and for the infotainment the company also has equipped the car with Bluetooth and DAB.
The driver will also have the flexibility to choose from four different modes such as eco, comfort, sport and custom driving modes while driving car.
The company has decided to sell the car with a price tag of £23,260. In order to get some of the additional features such as the ultimate sound system, touch-screen navigation system and a space saver spare wheel, the buyer will have to pay £24,125, to buy the car.
