It has been quite some time that rumors about Samsung planning to release a new device called Galaxy Tab 8.4 Pro somewhere around February 2014, but there have been further revelations about the device now after an FCC (Federal Communications Commission) filing concerned with this rumored device.
It is definite now that the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will feature a Wi-Fi AC (alongside A/B/G/N Wi-Fi Protocols) and Bluetooth LE.
The latter technology can be highly useful when paired with a growing number of Bluetooth LE devise that have been designed to transmit data continuously, for instance, fitness devices and other wearable gadgets.
It is interesting to note that the image found in the FCC documents depicts an LED flash on the back side of the device, which is highly uncommon on a tablet, and it is highly likely that it is there to support a high-quality camera similar to ones used in high-end smartphones these days.
Earlier there had been rumors that the device carries model names SM-T520 and SM-T525 but it is still unclear that whether or not Samsung has any plans to unveil the device at CES which is going to take place in the first week of January.
Samsung could also hold this device for later at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. All the updates of both the events will be brought to you from our side.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 hints that the future tablets may be optimized for enterprise usage with high-end specs.
