The Galaxy Tab 3 series refers to the third generation Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 and were aimed at budget markets.
Samsung recently rolled out the latest android update for the Tab 3, Users of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 can now install the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update on their tablet.
According to rumors, the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 started to roll out last month in Poland.
The users interested in installing official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean can access the firmware XXUAMK1 through the Over-The-Air(OTA) update. The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware update XXUAMK1 is intended only for SM-T311.
Before installing the Android 4.2.2 update, users should take care of certain things:
– Make sure that the battery level of the tablet is 80 percent or higher.
– Check if appropriate USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy tab 3 8.0 are installed on the computer to make sure that the device will connect easily during the installation process.
– Enable USB Debugging mode on the device.
– The Samsung Tab 3 8.0 should be factory unlocked and not locked to any particular network carrier.
The Samsung Tab 3 8.0 carries 16GB of built-in storage with dual-core processor and WiFi. It also features a 5 megapixel camera.
On the front of the device there’s a 1.3 megapixel camera with physical home button below the display. It sports a microSD slot on the left edge of the slate with the power button and volume rocker line the right side.
