Samsung has released a new camera called the ‘Galaxy NX’ camera and it has been claimed by Samsung that it is the most connected compact system camera in the world.
This is certainly believable considering the fact that it is the first interchangeable lens camera which is also a smart device. Some of the possibilities that are embedded in this camera are pretty bewildering, like the camera’s ability to guide the photographer back to the place he took a recent photo.
Now let’s talk about the most important aspect of a camera, its image quality. The Galaxy NC apart from being an ILC also features an APS-C sensor.
It has an effective resolution of 20.3 megapixels, features a hybrid autofocus system and a claimed burst shooting speed of 8.6 frames per second which is a good figure.
It also includes a wide selection of lenses including compact pancake lenses, ultra0wide fish eye, and a long prime and zoom lenses. With Samsung’s 45mm 2D/3D lens and using the True 3D creator you can shoot images and movies in 3D.
The Galaxy NX runs the Android 4.2 Jelly bean and can utilize the functionality of a smartphone to improvise on the photographic experience. The camera has 16GB of internal storage out of which 12GB is accessible.
It is clearly a camera for an enthusiast photographer and is priced at $1700 which is a little expensive but at the same time the specifications and features are highly compelling. You can check some of the shots taken by the Galaxy NX here.
