Review Minecraft PS3 edition

According to one of the leading newspaper, Minecraft, which is considered as a successful sandbox indie game, the PS3 version for the same was launched on 17 December, 2013 on PlayStation Network in North America.

4J Studios is the company which is responsible for the PS3 version of the game. The basic visual style of the game hides a brilliantly deep, yet relatively accessible adventure that’s topped off with some thoughtful little RPG elements.

The company has given the user the option to choose between two modes of play, first one being the survival, which sees you living a virtual life in a randomized world full of intrigue, and the second one being the creative, where you’re free to simply build things to your heart’s content without having to worry about being munched by beasties.

Tapping or holding R2 continuously lets the user to swing whatever the user is currently holding in the right hand, be it a sword, pickaxe, or your fist. With dirt or wood in hand, user can then start building shelter or anything that user want to really, as construction process has been really easy in the latest release.

Hearing zombies’ moving without lifting their feet and moan just outside of your walls can create some surprisingly tense situations for the gamer. Despite of everything, though, Minecraft simply cannot be up to the mark as per everyone’s taste.

The PS3 version of the game was much awaited, and is still the same addictive, quirky, and humorous title that’s been available on the PC for years.
