Python snake eats drunk man in India, hoax or real?

The news about “the python snake eats drunk man in India” had gone viral on the Thanksgiving weekend, but it is just a hoax.

Although the story around this news seems to be very interesting, as it states that after eating a drunk man in India, the python apparently undulated to China and swallowed one man from there, after which it headed to South Africa to swallow a woman. But, the fact is that it is just a cooked up story.

The story became viral Twitter and got almost 13000 retweets, soon after an Indian “financial professional” tweeted out the image, stating the snake ate a drunk man in India, which got tens of thousands of retweets in a few days.

“A Python ate a person who was drunk and lying beside the liquor shop”. This same message has been circulating since several months on internet, as in July this year, there was a similar news stating that a giant snake swallowed a woman near Durban North, South Africa and then after few weeks there was a blogger who said that a South African reporter witnessed the whole incident and sent the picture.

The image which got viral shows a huge snake lying on the ground with what looks like a person inside their stomach. The first case of a python eating a person was recorded in 2002 when a 20-foot python reportedly swallowed a ten-year-old boy whole in Durban, South Africa.

The same picture has been shown up every time with different stories getting attached to it, which proves that all these claims have been wrong and is definitely a hoax.
