PGA Golf Tour Leaderboard: PGA Championship 2013 – Tiger Woods was 13 shots behind the leader

PGA Golf Tour Leaderboard – PGA Championship 2013 – Day 3 Highlights

Sunny skies finally opened in Rochester at the Oak Hill Country Club and the contest turned into a difficult test which was anticipated by many heading into the week.

Things shaped up pretty well for Jim Furyk who is at the top with a 54-hole lead and looks forward for the second major title of his career.

Tiger Woods had been talking about shooting in the mid-60s in the Round 3 of the PGA Golf Championship 2013 but the reality turned out to be very different.

The World No. 1 fired a 73 at the Oak Hill Country Club and dropped to four over par, which is 13 shots behind the leader heading into the final.

Friday had seen a lot of ups and downs and Saturday was no different. Woods made just 1 birdie on the 11th hole and 4 bogeys to finish the day. Tiger was unable to find any kind of stroke which would drop his mid-range putts which were required to get him back into the competition. Now it’s pretty much confirmed that 2013 is not the year when Tiger Woods captures his first major title after 2008.

Jim Furyk shot a 68 to finish at -9 at the end of day 3. He is the leader heading into the final round with second day lead Jason Dufner right behind at -8 who finished the day with a par on 18 and Henrik Stenson trailing at -7.

Adam scot managed to par on 17 to stay on -5 as we head into another day of the PGA Championship 2013.
