PGA Golf Tour Leaderboard: PGA Championship 2013 – Second round results
In the second round of the 2013 PGA Championship, it was Jason Dufner leading. The 36-year-old golfer might be the inspiration behind the term ‘Dufnering’ but after shooting a seven-under 63, he was leading the second day of the final major of the 2013 PGA Tour season. He will take a score of nine under into the weekend for the tournament.
Following Dufner is Adam Scott, Matt Kuchar and Jim Furyk, all being just two shots off the pace at seven under. Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson are currently six under, whereas Steve Stricker and Simpson highlight a group of golfers hovering around contention.
Lee Westwood (-1), Rory McIlroy (E) and Tiger Woods (+1) have not been very impressive but have however managed to make the cut on Friday. Phil Mickelson (+2) is still having troubles adjusting to Oak Hill even on the second straight day.
All major championship winners are present in this PGA Tour 2013 and definitely everyone is trying to get their next big victory. One big name who is not present in this year’s championship is Angel Cabrera due to a wrist injury.
Out of the four courses at Oak Hill used this year, the East Course has been the most exciting till now. Granted, Augusta produced a winner (Scott) at nine under, but Oak Hill could venture into the 15-under region if scores like Friday’s keep coming in.
