Nintendo released Nintendo 3DS Louvre guide in eshop

During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it has been revealed that Nintendo is now making its Nintendo 3DS guide of the famed Louvre museum available on its eShop.

Priced at £17.99, the 1.8GB download contains 600 images of artwork, nearly 30 hours of audio commentary, and more than 400 photos of the museum interior including panoramic 3D photos of gallery spaces.

There is also a feature of interactive trail which enables the users to set routes around the museum without leaving their homes.

In case you are wondering about the notifications of the latest exhibits, the software comes backed with an update feature to cater to that.

Using the guide at the museum itself unlocks Louvre mode, which uses location-sensing features to provide information on your current whereabouts within the building.

It comes with a number of pre-loaded tours, such as the ‘Masterpieces Tour’, which focuses on pieces such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, and the ‘Family Tour’, which would take you to ancient Egypt with mini-games and quizzes.

A 3D video featuring the famed Venus de Milo sculpture can be viewed from the Nintendo eShop giving a glimpse of what Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre has to offer.

The software can be of a lot of advantage for someone who wants to take a virtual tour to one of the world’s most renowned museums. It can also be used to plan the tour to a place and is helpful even during real visits to museums.
