A new Nintendo Direct was announced by Nintendo this Tuesday with an intention of having a discussion on already announced Wii U and 3DS titles.
The main emphasis, this time, would be on Platinum Games’ Wii U exclusive, The Wonderful 101. The players will be forming giant structures by assembling 101 heroes in this game. The game comes from the creators of Viewtiful Joe and should be of interest to anyone who enjoys colorful graphics and quirky game play.
Sonic: Lost World, a New Sega title, will be launched on October 18 for Wii U and will bring the Super Galaxy-style play to the Sega mascot.
A 3DS version of the game will be launched on the same date. The award winning play seen in Rayman origins will be continued in Rayman Legends.
The game will be multiplayer and will make full use of gamepad’s touch screen and motion control. Rayman Origins levels will also be unblocked and Rayman will be able to access Mario and Luigi costumes. The game is set to be released on August 29 on Wii U in Europe.
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s president, said during the last Nintendo Direct that they would be launching a scaled down version of Art Academy for the Wii U. The game will be available on August 9.
In the end Iwata announced that players from all over the world will be able to play Animal Crossing. He said that Wii U will be creating an app called Animal Crossing Plaza that will feature all the friends and animals that populate ones Animal Crossing town.
