New Motorola Moto G specs review and price

Handset maker Motorola Mobility’s affordable Smartphone, Moto G, would be available next year, as announced by the company.

The Moto G is Motorola’s first Smartphone since becoming a Google-owned company, and is probably the best budget phone. This latest Smartphone was launched by Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside.

The design of this latest Motorola Smartphone is similar to that of the Moto X which was unveiled earlier this year. It features an edge-to-edge display, Gorilla Glass protection, a curved rear and a nano-coating on outside as well as inside, which is a good water resistant.

The Moto G is very solidly built, which is a refreshing change from most budget Smartphone and there is absolutely no flex in the body when trying to twist it between two hands.

The specs include a 4.5 inch HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a quad-core CPU. As far as the OS is concerned it runs the Android Jellybean 4.3 with a guarantee to get an upgrade soon.

Most recent rumors suggest that Motorola’s Moto G will be launched in India after approximately two months. So the users are now left with no choice but to bear the wait till New Year when it will be revealed here. But the great news is that the Smartphone will be featured in India not with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Moto G will weigh about 143 grams and would pack a 2070mAh battery. The Smartphone is priced at $179 for 8 GB version, while the 16 GB version is priced at $199.
