No one is still sure and neither has Apple confirmed that will it be launching the iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6.
Though it is expected that if it is the iPhone 6 that is being launched on the predicted date, September 10th, then it is likely that it will have many features common with the iPhone 5 with the key difference being the replacement of the anodized aluminium body of the iPhone 5 with a much cheaper but highly strong and more scratch-proof polycarbonate shell.
Back in January, Jeremy Horwitz of the iLounge had predicted that the iPhone 6 will be a mixture of the iPhone 5, the fifth-gen iPod touch and even the iPod classic. A 4-inch screen just like the iPhone 5, bottom like the iPod touch and rectangular in shape like the iPod classic.
It is also believed that if it is the iPhone 6 being revealed on September 10th, then most of the specs would remain same, including a 4 inch Retina display with a resolution of 326 ppi.
It is expected to feature the new A6 chip, a FaceTime HD camera and even an 8 megapixel rear camera. There have been leaked photos of the alleged 8 megapixel camera all over the internet and also of the other components of the iPhone 6 too.
It is also rumoured that the iPhone 6 would be available in five different colors, i.e., red, green, yellow, blue and white unlike the only black or white present till now.
