Mercedes-Benz, the German automobile manufacturer launched the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG earlier this year in New York auto show.
The CLA45 AMG is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, which is sufficient enough to produce 355 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, along with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
Mercedes claims that the car is capable to speed up from 0-to-60-mph within 4.5 seconds, and the top speed of the car is limited to 155 mph.
The company has also announced handful of options such as the addition of metallic paint costs $720, carbon fiber interior trim is $950, a panoramic sunroof adds $1480 to the sticker price, a Becker Map Pilot navigation system is $800, and an upgraded infotainment system costs $2300.
According to the company, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG will be the cheapest car in the AMG model range. But, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is also considerably more expensive than any other turbocharged, all-wheel-drive performance cars with similar power and features.
The interiors of the car are fantastic and the materials used are very good. The front buckets of the car are plenty comfortable but, the rear seat is tight.
The chassis of the car well sorted which gives the car very good body control and bump absorption, as the suspension is capable of taking up even relatively hefty road imperfections easily without causing the driver to correct his line.
The standard 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250, which is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine rated for 208 hp, costs $30,825, including a $925 destination charge.
