After curved televisions, now we have curved screen smartphones. And it has been announced that the first curved screen smartphone, which is the LG G Flex, will be hitting the American soil on January 31st and will be available with Sprint.
LG has manufactured the first smartphone which uses a flexible OLED display to flaunt the first curved display and according to LG, it is a more natural shape to hold it to your face.
A similar phone to the LG G Flex is the Samsung Galaxy Round, but its display curves horizontally unlike the G Flex which curves vertically. Although you cannot literally bend the display, it can surely be flattened by pushing between two surfaces.
The phone is already available for preorder with Sprint and the carrier is offering its high speed LTE connection, aka Sprint Spark, with the smartphone. The connection has reported speeds of 60Mbps.
The smartphone is priced at $299.99 and comes with a two-year contract. It is February 7th when the phone will hit the stores but for those who have preordered the phone online, the phone will ship starting January 31st. And making it even better, if you have ordered your LG G Flex online, you will get a free Quickwindow Folio Case which is actually priced at $59.99.
