Users of the iPhone who are the part of the jailbreak community are regretting their decision of upgrading from the iOS 6.1.2 and are still waiting for the team evasi0n to release the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak.
There has been no update by the @evaders group and everyone is confused about this silence. In the meantime, @iH8sn0w held a Q & A event on Twitter and he recently ridiculed the news which claimed that the iOS 7 jailbreak will never happening and neither will the iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak.
All the team evasi0n members have reassured the community that they are still working on the iOS 7 jailbreak and nothing has been terminated.
They had never given any estimated time and they were firm on their statement that it will take some more time for the jailbreak to be ready. But @planetbeing pointed out that some fake accounts are releasing fake release dates for the jailbreak and adding to the frustration.
Fake accounts like @evad3rs_jb and their Facebook and Google+ pages, and even fake sites like http://evad3rs.net are spreading unnecessary rumors and many people are thinking they are genuine. Because of all this Planetbeing has had to maintain and updates blog only on iOS 7 jailbreak updates.
There has been no sign from the team that they are or will leave the project. If the group decides to abandon the project, which they will not, they will definitely make an announcement. They had announced in March that they will not be working on any iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak.
Some twitter users tweeted some pointy things to which the team responed. For instance, to a tweet stating the iOS 7 jailbreak is not happening, @iH8sn0w responded with a big LOL stating double check your facts. To another tweet asking the estimated time of jailbreak for iOS 6.1.4, he replied with a blunt ‘when its ready’.
So it is obvious that till the jailbreaks are ready to be publically released, there is going to be no announcements about any ETA.
