HTC has launched its One Max in a new color variant in Taiwan. For the time being, there has been no official statement about a global launch of the HTC One Max phablet. It is only available in Taiwan. Engadget has reported that the HTC One Max is now available in an option of Red color also.
Earlier this month, HTC had announced a Black color variant for the One Max in Hong Kong. With the release of two more color variants – Black and Red, the HTC One Max is now available in three color options, the third one being Silver. The Silver variant of the HTC One Max is available in the Indian market at a price of INR 56,490.
HTC had unveiled the One Max phablet in October this year. The phablet has a 5.9 inches full HD LCD display, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.
The phablet runs the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS and has 2GB of RAM. The One Max has 16GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 64GB by using an external microSD card.
The operating system also has the HTC Sense 5.5 UI installed on top of it. The device also sports the new UltraPixel camera by HTC, and there is also a 2.1 megapixel front camera too for video calling and selfies. The phablet also has the HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound features which were first introduced in the HTC One.
Design of the HTC One Max is almost similar to the HTC One with few minor changes. The phone also features biometric security in the form of a fingerprint scanner at the back. This is second device after the Apple iPhone 5s to feature a fingerprint scanner.
