The Hewlett-Packard Company Scandal

Much has been reported about the scandal in Hewlett-Packard Company wherein their chief executive Mark V. Hurd has been ousted Mark V. Hurd for mistating expenses. A celebrity named Jodie Fisher has been involved in the scene. She has appeared in several steamy movies like “Sheer Passion” and “Intimate Obsession”.

Mr. Hurd claimed that he never had an affair or a sexual relationship with Fisher. He was ousted in the company after they found out that Hurd had inaccurate expense reports that covered payments made to Ms. Fisher. The funds were found to be amounting to $1,000 to $20,000.

Last June Ms. Fisher’s attorney contacted the company charging sexual harassment to Hurd and has released the following statement: “I have resolved my claim with Mark privately, without litigation, and I do not intend to comment on it further”. She further stated that she was under contract with H.P. She claimed that she has been attending high-level customer and executive summit events held around the country and abroad and was prepared for those events. She has been happy working with the company and saddened about what happened to Mr. Hurd because of her.

Fisher’s attorney Gloria Allred released a statement Sunday saying that her client is a single mom who only works for her son. According to her, Ms. Fisher has a degree in political science from Texas Tech University and was recently the vice president of a commercial real estate company. She also formerly worked on the House of Representatives Select Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control and was a sales representative for an unnamed Fortune 500 company.

As of the moment, Ms. Fisher is part of the show “Age of Love” wherein she is one of 13 women competing for the heart of a tennis star, Mark Philippoussis. Sad to say, she was the first one to be eliminated.
