Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 will get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update

Android devices in Canada which include the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Mini and Note 2, have recently received the Android 4.3 update.

However, users of the little oversized Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 in Canada have not received the update yet and the news is that they will be receiving the Android 4.3 update in January.

It is not official news yet but people at Mobile Syrup received an allegedly leaked document which states that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Mega 6.3 would be rolled out starting from January.

The update promises to bring performance enhancements in the device and along with it the Galaxy Gear Compatibility. There are other devices as well mentioned in the leaked documents which include the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Mega.

The update has been rolled out by the Rogers for all their devices but neither Rogers nor any other carrier in Canada has confirmed the authenticity of this leaked document.

So the only choice which the users are left with is to wait till January with their fingers crossed. Moreover, it also depends on the time taken by the carrier to test the update and then load it with its own branding and other customization before the update is rolled out to the users.

As soon as there is any update regarding the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy Mega 6.3, we will definitely update you.
