Google Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 launched – Price and Specs Review


The flagship Nexus 5, official Google Android phone, and the new Nexus 7 with FullHD screen are now available on Google’s Play store for Indian consumers. Both the devices will run the latest Android operating system Android 4.4 KitKat.

For the Nexus 7 16GB Wi-Fi model starts at Rs. 20,999 whereas the 32GB Wi-Fi model starts at Rs 223,999. The 32GB Wi-Fi plus 3G model is priced at Rs 27,999.

On the other hand, the Nexus 5 comes in two variants. The 16GB model of Nexus 5 is available for Rs. 28,999 whereas the 32GB model is available for Rs. 32,999.

According the Play Store listing it says that Google Nexus 7 would be available and will go on sale after November 26th. Nexus 7 features a 7-inch HD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels and a pixel density of 323ppi.

The Nexus 7 features a scratch-resistant Corning glass and comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It comes with a 2GB of RAM.
The Nexus 7 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.2 megapixel rear facing camera. As far as the storage is concerned, the device is available in two variants 16GB and 32GB.

For the gamers, the Google Nexus 5 is a dream phone since it is powered by 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.

It has a 4.95 inch touchscreen made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a FUL HD display of 1920×1080 with 445 ppi support. And the price for which it comes would make other smartphones go for a run.
