Google Nexus 10 2 release date looming as price for Nexus 7 dropped – Rumors, News, Features, and Specs

As there are speculations that Google will soon be launching the Nexus 10 2nd gen, the price of the Google Nexus 7 2nd gen has dropped.

Currently, the Nexus 7 2nd gen devices are available with offers. The 16GB version of the device is available with a price tag of $180 with a $20 gift card at an official Depot. Whereas, the 32GB version of the Nexus 7 2 is available with a discount of $40. The device was available for $210 on eBay, while Amazon were offering it for $200 and up.

The device features a classy 7 inches screen with 1200 x 1920 resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with 2GB of RAM.

The device is equipped with primary camera of 5MP, whereas the secondary camera is of 1.2MP. The Nexus 7 2 also offers NFC, wireless charging and Bluetooth 4.0.

The price drop around this time is not unusual, as following the trend every year drop in prices of tech around the holidays is seen.

Another reason which leads to a price drop is when there are rumors that a company is going to offer a new device. So, the latter proves the rumors about the release of Nexus 10 2nd gen.

One of the recent report suggested the arrival of Nexus 10 2 at the MWC this year. The rumors are that the tablet will feature a display of 10 inches and resolution of 2560 x 1600.

The device might be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor or possibly the Tegra 4. The resolution of the camera will be of 8MP and the device is expected to run on the latest version of Android i.e. KitKat 4.4.

According to rumors the tablet will be available with two version 16GB and 32GB.
