After it was found out that the Fallout 4 teaser website was nothing but a hoax, a new report has surfaced which predicts that the game will be set in Massachusetts.
Kotaku.com has claimed that it has obtained allegedly leaked documents from a reader which contains the game’s casting calls for voice actors.
It is alleged that the project has been codenamed ‘Institute’ which could be related to the mysterious and secretive entity referenced in Fallout 3. The report also contains a few scripts and descriptions of a few characters.
Jason Schreier, writer at Kotaku said that the casting documents that have been obtained contain scripts, character descriptions and even other details about the next edition to the Fallout series, and albeit the word Fallout has not been used anywhere, the setting and locations clearly point towards Fallout.
It appears that some new characters will be introduced in the upcoming game. These include a radio DJ named Travis Miles and Sturges, a cross between singer Buddy Holly and actor Vin Diesel.
It is believed that the creator of Fallout 3, Bethesda, is working on another Fallout game after releasing the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 2011. Rumors that another ‘Fallout’ is under development which will be set in Boston are also surfacing. However, nothing has been confirmed by the company yet.
There are other documents too which describe a mission set in a somewhat post-apocalyptic version of MIT and there is reference to other locations never shown in the games, like the Commonwealth, which comprises of what is remaining of Massachusetts.
