BlackBerry Z30 specs review and price


Blackberry is going through tough times and is facing a cut throat competition in smartphone market but that hasn’t stop the company from taking its last shot to recoup its foothold in the smartphone market.

BlackBerry’s latest creation, the BlackBerry Z30 is undoubtedly the company’s biggest, boldest and most advance gadget yet.

The new Z30 is launched at a price of $199.99 to compete with $199.99 Motorola Droid Maxx and Samsung Galaxy S4 but is arriving at just one US carrier, Verizon.

Z30 has an impressive screen size of 5-inch, a 1,280X780 pixel display and a pixel density of 295 pixels per inch.

It comes with BB10.2 OS, which has a feature of Priority Hub that can detect what contacts are important to you and displays messages on priority basis. While using an app, notifications will appear on the top of the screen and also provides a reply option in the pop-up, so you don’t have to switch between the apps.

The Z30 has a rubberized rear panel which gives it a finest look and feel. It has a front camera of 2-megapixel and a rear camera of 8-megapixel.

The play/pause and volume up/down controls are present on the right while ports for Micro-HDMI and USB cable are on the left. The Z30 is powered with a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and quad-core Adreno graphics.

It has a RAM of 2GB and 16GB internal storage is provided by the company and a micoSD card slot is also provided for extra storage.

BlackBerry has also made it sure that they push the Z30’s noise cancellation abilities. The sound is so clear that while talking on call you will feel like you are sitting in the same room with the person you are talking to.
