Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has been released and till now it has received amazing reviews. It is a high seas pirate adventure which is a must play. Metacritic has rated the PS3 version of the game at 89 out of 100.

If for some reason you had missed out the past couple of editions of the franchise, then for your information, the developers have put you in the shoes of the protagonist of the series, Desmond Miles, who is a stealthy time traveling assassin.

The game began from the era of the Third Crusade and moved into 15th century Venice, Rome, and Colonial America and has now reached the Caribbean islands including the cities Kingston and Havana in early 18th century. Famous pirates like Blackbeard, Calico Jack and Benjamin Hornigold make an appearance in the game.

The game has been released for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii U and would be launched for the Xbox One and PS4 as well in the near future.

The game has received significant improvement to the already great graphics and visuals of the previous version. Moreover, there is a noticeable leap in the graphics as we move on to the next-gen consoles.

Black Flag gives you the ability to sail through the high seas in a pirate ship and as you proceed through the game, you can upgrade your ship in various ways and engage in naval battles as you go on exploring the never ending world.

But there is no pirate game that comes without treasures and you will find plenty as you venture through the seas. Another feature which has been added is the second-screen functionality. It allows you to sync gameplay and use your iOS or Android tablet.

It is a massive game and will take a lot of hours to complete. However, there will be no moment when you lose your interest in the storyline.
