Apple is having an amazing holiday selling season, and now the tech giant has decided to reward its customers with loads of free content for their iDevices.
The Cupertino, California based company launched its ‘12 Days of Gifts’ promotion offer on Thursday for all its customers in Canada, Europe and the US.
The free gifts are not same for everyone and vary depending on the geographic location and platform and comprise of music, videos, games and other software applications.
The promotion has been held in Canada and Europe in the past years too but this year it opened its freebies offer for its US customers as well.
The first freebie in the US is a four-song live set by Justin Timberlake that has been recorded at the iTunes festival held in London.
Apple is giving away the video game ‘Real Steel’ in Europe as a free gift. All downloads for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices will be available for a 24-hour period every day.
Everyday till the 6th of January next year, Apple will reveal a new gift to be downloaded. To be able to download all the free apps and gifts, a user has to download the ’12 Days of Gifts’ app first from the Apple App Store.
It is being reported by Analysts that the sales figure for the iPad Air and previous generation tablets and even for the iPhone 5S, have seen a sharp increase ahead of Christmas.
It was reported by another analyst that the iPhone 5s was the most requested gift this holiday season and was followed by the Sony PlayStation 4 and then by the Apple iPad Air.
