Apple iPad Air and iPad Mini – The Best Tablet of 2013

A recent survey revealed that iPad Air was chosen as the best tablet of 2013 by a group of people through voting. The iPad Air is a 43% thinner bezel and a 28% lighter device.

It has got the black design, thinner bezel and more attractive speakers at the bottom of the phone to make it look like more of a family with the cut down tablet from Apple’s stables.

The iPad Air is a super thin, super light tablet with a traditional 9.7-inch screen with retina display. It runs iOS 7 on a 64 bit desktop-class Apple A7 chip.

In the survey the iPad Air bested its cousin iPad Mini that ranked second. The iPad Air meaures 240* 169.5*7.5 mm and weighs 469g(Wi-Fi)/478g(3G/LTE). The 1.2 MP camera in the front of the device shows thw whole face very nicely with a detailed level of sharpness.

It comes with a LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16 M colors offering 1,536*2048 pixels. The iPad Air is the most balanced device in the market with great precision going into engineering throughout.

Its design is also very impressive with a smooth aluminium back. The new flatter interface takes away the pointless need to pretend all apps are real-life objects just to integrate them into people’s lives.

It also contains the Parallax feature in which tilting the iPad will see the wallpaper move with motion and it doesn’t have much effect on the battery life of the tablet.

One of the new feature of iOS 7 is the notification bar, found by dragging from the top of the tablet. This gives access to updates, calender entries and missed messages.
