Nissan recently unveiled the 2015 Nissan GTR Nismo at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new car ups that ante considerably with available upgraded interior materials, including perforated semi-aniline leather and paint embedded with 24-karat gold flake.
It is an already established fact that the Nissan GT-R is undoubtedly one of the best performing supercars, and now the decades of racing experience that has been gathered by the Nismo has been poured into the development of the Nissan GT-R.
This ferocious car by Nissan holds the current lap record at Germany’s highly famous Nordschleife circuit for a mass production vehicle. It recorded a time of 7:08:679 at the circuit and reached a top speed of almost 195mph.
The 2015 Nissan GTR Nismo is the fourth model of the 2015 GT-R series, with the other three being the GT-R Premium, Black Edition and the Track Edition.
It was announced that the Nissan GT-R Nismo will be made available in five colors which include Meteor Flake Pearl Black, Brilliant White Pearl, Ultimate Metallic Silver, and Vibrant Red. Besides these four colors, a Dark Matte Grey shade which will be unique to the GT-R Nismo mode.
This unique shade is targeted to emphasize the vehicle’s highly imposing exterior muscular build. It comes with the legendary 6-spoke black wheels inspired by the GT50 race car.
The horsepower has been increased up to 215hp and the torque has been enhanced to 210 lb-ft. Other enhancements include the addition of a new manual transmission, a better braking system, stiffening of the chassis and a unique interior design which features front seats by Recaro.
Dunlop has developed exclusive tires for the Nismo which exhibit an outstanding grip on the road and has better handling characteristics.
The front tires are 255/40 ZRF20 and the rear tires are 285/35 ZRF20. Nissan will set the price of the 2015 Nissan GTR Nismo in the $200K area.
