The Chevy 2015 Colorado was all set to debut at the LA Auto Show in November 2013. Chevy introduced the 2015 Colorado pickup on Monday at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new model is set to arrive at dealerships in the fall of next year.

The mid-sized truck is expected to deliver class-leading power, payload trailering rating when it goes on sale in fall 2014.

The most peculiar thing at the surface in regards to the 2015 Colorado is that it doesn’t share any styling cues with the global model. The Chevrolet will offer the Colorado with a choice of two engines.

Those interested for the efficiency will be interested in 2.5 liter 4 banger that generates 193 horsepower and 184 pound feet of torque and more fuel efficient.

Those looking for a bit more grunt will have the larger and heavier 3.6 liter V6 option that generates 302 horsepower and 270 pound feet of torque. In 2015 Chevy plans to roll out a 2.8 liter Duramax Turbo charged l4 diesel for the truck.

The 2015 Colorado was designed to function and resemble the General Motors full sized trucks and it show cases a rugged and handsome thing and is far more attractive than most of the pickup trucks of the same size and features.

The 2015 Colorado will be available in three models WT, LT and Z71 all in either 2WD or 4WD and all of which are mated to a six-speed automatic transition. The truck will be fitted with better suspensions, handling and various new features giving Colorado an edge above others.
