2015 Audi A3 will come to US in 2014 – Specs review and price

One year after the all-new Audi A3 made its mark in Europe, the US finally will get the 2015 A3 sedan in 2014. A3 sedan will be priced from $30,795, including shipping, when it hits showrooms around March of next year. The A3 Sportback variant also due next year would also come with a higher price tag.

There is surely a lot of good news pouring in for the Audi lovers as they can also expect the sporty S3 variant, stylish A3 Cabriolet and eco-friendly A3 TDI diesel in showrooms next year, and in early 2015 the brand with the four rings will introduce its A3 Sportback e-tron plug-in hybrid.

The new A3 comes well equipped, even at its base level pricing. Standard features include a panoramic glass sunroof, leather seating surfaces, Bluetooth connectivity and bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.

The base model offers a 1.8-liter TFSI, which rates at 170 horsepower. Next in line will be the 2.0-liter TDI, which rates at a lower 150 horsepower but should have more torque than the 1.8-liter TFSI.

Though a 2.0-liter TFSI will also be offered in the A3 but Audi hasn’t revealed much details about it yet. And Audi is offering its Quattro all-wheel-drive system as well.

All engines in the new A3 are mated to a six-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters.

Speculations are high that the sedan segment of Audi would surely outwit the hatchback and convertible models. And with the price for which it is fixed, it surely would attract a lot of buyers.
