Nissan’s recently launched car, the Pathfinder Hybrid 2014, which starts at a price of $35,970 and includes an $860 destination charge, and reflects a $6,260 premium over the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder S 2WD (base models, gas powered).
The 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum 4WD Hybrid is little expensive and has a price tag of $45,210 and the good news is that it includes the shipping price also. The Pathfinder is available now.
The base model of Pathfinder S 2WD starts at $29,710 including the shipping charges and is ready to give its competitors that is the Japanese counterpart a very tough competition. On the other hand, the 2013 Highlander Hybrid model is priced at $41,030 which includes $860 as the destination charges and is yet to be unveiled by Toyota.
There is a significant price difference between the Pathfinder Hybrid and the 2014 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid. The 2014 Touareg Hybrid is far too expensive and is priced at $65,080 which also includes a $910 destination charge.
According to the reports, Nissan claims that Pathfinder Hybrid comes with fuel economy which is rated at 25mpg while driving in the city whereas on the highway it can go till 28 mpg.
The pathfinder also features a supercharged 2.5 liter gasoline engine, a lithium ion battery and an electric motor. The hybrid model also comes with special LED taillights and hybrid system information screens inside the cabin.
