2014 Lexus IS 350 features, specs review, and price


Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation redesigned the 2014 Lexus IS 350.

The new 2014 Lexus IS 350 is the compact sport sedan entry from a brand which is renowned for its ultra-refined luxury sedans and high reliability ratings.

The Lexus IS 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine which is capable of delivering 306 hp, and 277 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission which is standard for rear-wheel-drive models, and a six-speed automatic is used for all-wheel-drive cars.

Both the transmission comes with steering-wheel paddle shifters to enable manual shifting when wanted. The Lexus IS 350 is capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and delivers 19 miles per gallon in the city, 28 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg overall.

Whereas, the all-wheel-drive IS 350 gets the same 19 mpg rating in the city, but drops to 26 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg overall.

The 2014 IS 350’s refurbishment starts with new sheet metal, the new IS 350 is made up of the brand’s audacious double-spindle grille, which gives a far better design than the larger sedans.

The standard features of the car include 17-inch wheels accompanied with all-season tires, HID headlamps, LED daytime running lights and brake lights, heated side mirrors, moon roof, keyless ignition and entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leatherette premium vinyl upholstery and a 60/40 folding rear seat with armrest.

The IS 350 carries a $39,465 price tag, whereas the fully optioned IS 350 F-Sport RWD is priced at $50,000.
