2014 Detroit Auto Show: 2015 GMC Canyon, Toyota Tacoma, schedule, and ticket price


General Motors Co. the American multinational automobile manufacturer recently confirmed that the 2015 GMC Canyon will debut next week in Detroit.

In 2013, GM revealed the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette a day before its debut at the 2013 Detroit auto show. Several truck fanatics have been eagerly waiting for debut of the Canyon since last summer when GM released the Chevrolet Colorado, which made its world debut at the 2013 LA Auto Show in November.

GM has not revealed any detail about the Canyon except a series of teaser photos. In a statement made by company’s official, it was stated that the company is confident that the midsize pickup truck segment can grow with the launch of the Colorado and the GMC Canyon, which the company has almost proved with the latest unveil.

Toyota will be giving a tuff competition to GM, as it is currently the leader in the U.S. midsize truck segment with the Tacoma.

According to the reports, the Detroit auto show will be open to the public starting from Jan. 18-26 at Cobo Center, which will be followed by a Press Preview on Jan. 13-14, then will be an Industry Preview on Jan. 15-16and then finally the Charity Preview on Jan. 17.

It is expected that automaker will reveal more than 50 vehicles during the two-day Press Preview to start the 2014 NAIAS.

Tickets to the 2014 public show days are available with a price tag of $7 for senior citizens and children between 7-12 years old. For adults the ticket price will be $13 and tickets will be free of cost for children 6 and under.
