2 Chainz feat Fergie, “Netflix”

In the next few weeks 2 Chainz will be publicizing his sophomore album ‘BO.A.T.S. II: Me Time’.

The Atlanta rapper will offer up a new record off the album for those who pre-order on iTunes. The track, titled ‘Netflix’ (Yes, Netflix), features vocals and a verse from the one and only Fergie. Honorable C.N.O.T.E and Diplo produced this song.

On the bass-heavy track “When I die, bury me inside the liquor store” melodizes Fergie. 2 Chainz and Fergie isn’t exactly a combination anyone would typically expect but the duo seems to make it work well here.

‘BO.A.T.S. II: Me Time’ will be arriving in stores on September 10th. Along with Fergie, the 2 Chainz managed to clutch some features from Drake, Lil Wayne, Lloyd, Mase, T-Pain, Rich Homie Quan, Chrisette Michele, SunniPatterson, and Cap1.

The song is most awaited, as it has a guest appearance from Fergie, a rather eccentric artist to pair up with 2 Chainz. The song is produced by Da Honorable C-Note and Diplo. Me Time is slated for a September 10 release date.

In the beginning of the song Fergie takes on the role of backup vocals, but then takes the second verse, leaving 2 Chainz with the first and third verses.

She starts her verse off by saying “Bury me inside the liquor store,” paying homage to 2 Chainz’s single from last year, “Birthday Song.” She goes on to shout out Shabba Ranks, saying “You do what you can, I’ll do what you can’t/you smoke that Bobby Brown, I be on that Shabba Ranks.”

Following Fergie’s verse, the beat switches up, adding more effects for 2 Chainz to go back in with his third verse.
